Senior Field Service Engineer II

Conduct on-site preventative maintenance, minor repairs, calibrations, and software/hardware upgrades for laboratory instrumentation, medical devices, kiosk equipment, and high-voltage UPS systems. Establish close communication with assigned customers to ensure operational visibility and maintain subject matter expertise across various product modalities. Manage assigned work orders, document all facets of the work product in the Computerized Maintenance Management System, and provide accurate reporting of service status and escalations. Control and maintain all EMSAR assets, including tools, parts, and test equipment, while following strict quality practices and safety instructions. Mentor junior and mid-level field service associates, lead team work, assist with onboarding and hiring, and deliver training modules to improve process efficiency. Complete administrative duties such as time sheet and expense reviews, with approximately 25% of the workload dedicated to paperwork. Regional day and overnight travel is required.
