Job Summary
Senior Field Premium Auditor needed to conduct thorough audits of insureds’ financial records to verify premium accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulations. Responsibilities include reviewing financial statements, payroll records, and documents; identifying and resolving discrepancies; determining applicability of certificates and class codes to exposures; reviewing claim activity for employee coding accuracy; preparing and presenting detailed audit reports to management; collaborating with underwriters and other internal teams to ensure accurate premium calculations; delivering excellent customer service to policyholders throughout the audit process; and traveling within the Los Angeles County area as required. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills are essential, as is the ability to work independently in a fully remote territory with local travel opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Math, Accounting, Finance, Business, Risk Management and Insurance, or a related field or equivalent experience
- Generally, a minimum of 3-7 years of experience in Premium Audit
- Demonstrates strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrates excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and across departments
- Requires frequent travel by car with a company vehicle included
