Senior Field Inspector

Job Summary
The Senior Field Inspector will inspect structural components at customer locations, recording structural deficiencies for customer use, gathering field measurements, and conducting inspections in a heavy industrial environment. Essential duties include detecting defects in structural systems, accurately reading drawings, and completing training modules. The role requires 5+ years of inspection experience, proficiency in using a computer or tablet, and physical capability to perform tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds. Candidates with a technical degree and certifications in welding and inspection are preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Must pass a fit for duty test
- Reliable vehicle transportation
Desired Qualifications
- Technical degree preferred
- Nondestructive testing experience
- Certified welding inspector
- American Petroleum Inspector 510, 570 or 653
- NACE coating inspector
- Experience in shop welding and fabrication or quality inspection in other fields
Additional Requirements
- Personnel with experience in shop welding and fabrication or quality inspection in other fields is a plus
