Job Summary
The Senior Field HRBP role at Insomnia Cookies requires a strategic partnership and hands-on execution in employee relations, talent management, compliance, and culture management across a multi-state footprint. Responsibilities include aligning people strategies with business goals, driving engagement initiatives, overseeing employee relations matters, and ensuring compliance with employment laws. Candidates must have 8-10 years of HR experience supporting multi-unit teams, excellent communication skills, strong business acumen, and the ability to influence leaders without direct authority. A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is required, along with a minimum of eight years of HR management experience.
Required Qualifications
- 8-10 years of progressive HR experience with significant time supporting field-based, multi-unit, retail, restaurant, or hospitality teams
- Proven experience partnering with senior leaders and influencing outcomes without direct authority
- Strong business acumen with the ability to connect people initiatives to operational outcomes
- Strong employee relations expertise and the ability to navigate complex situations effectively
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build trust quickly with leaders and teams at all levels
- High integrity, discretion, and genuine passion for people and culture
- Highly organized with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations, particularly California
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems
- Ability to travel up to 50%
