Job Summary
Meet daily with project crews to review production schedules and confirm materials, equipment, and resources are available for on-time, on-budget completion. Collect, coordinate, and analyze shop drawings, design specifications, and project data to ensure quality and contract specification compliance. Provide technical input for work plans and scheduling, identify production risks, and evaluate daily performance projections to track project status. Remits accurate quantity inputs using assigned cost coding to ensure financial reporting accuracy and manage cost coding with finance teams. Review and approve daily timecards, resolve inquiries with payroll and supervisors, and initiate inspections and certificates for construction production. Plan field layouts, mark utilities, obtain necessary permits, and conduct Job Hazard Analyses to maintain a safe, compliant work environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field
- 2+ years of construction engineering, scheduling or design experience
- Intermediate knowledge of cost coding, cost savings, budget and other project related financial implications
- Intermediate knowledge of scheduling processes and industry best practices
- Intermediate interpersonal relationship skills, building new positive relationships towards a common goal
- Knowledge of construction equipment & techniques, drawing & specifications, building materials and required standards applicable to the project
- Ability to assume responsibility, interface and communicate effectively with others
- Knowledge of construction scheduling and production time management
- Construction engineering experience or knowledge
