Job Summary
Install conduit and wiring systems while fabricating, repairing, and maintaining parts using machine shop tools. Troubleshoot mechanical issues by observing equipment operations at job sites and respond to service calls from local clients, diagnosing and resolving major or minor issues. Replace faulty parts, make adjustments to machinery, and interpret schematic designs to perform repairs in accordance with specifications. Carry out installations for key clients in aircraft hangars, manufacturing plants, and distribution centers. Ensure tools and equipment are properly maintained and in good working condition. Manage inventory and utilize machine shop tools to support overhead and bridge crane electrical, hydraulic, and electric motor systems.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in high voltage troubleshooting and any mechanical repair knowledge in lieu of overhead crane repair/installation experience
- Proficient in stick/arc welding, certification required for highest end of pay range
- Open to travel as far as Tampa if needed (travel is actively decreasing to only be in Central FL)
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
- Proficient in reading schematics, and diagnosing electrical failures in overhead systems
- Valid Driver's License and clean driving record is required
Desired Qualifications
- High voltage diagnostic & troubleshooting experience (any equipment/industry)
- Welding certificates or trade schooling
