Job Summary
Senior Field Applications Engineer (FAE) to bridge engineering and customer teams for RF systems and networked solutions. Responsibilities include high-tier technical assistance remotely and on-site, technical training, diagnostic troubleshooting, field integration and support at customer locations, developing test plans and project reports, sales support demonstrations and advice, inventory management for demonstration equipment, and relaying customer feedback to internal teams. Travel up to 50% (domestic with some international) is required. Requires solid RF concepts and proficiency with RF test equipment (Spectrum Analyzers, Network Analyzers, multimeters); B.S. in electrical engineering, telecommunications, or related field; minimum 5 years of experience; strong communication skills; and U.S. citizenship due to government contracts. Preferred: DoD/government experience and active or ability to obtain security clearance. Hybrid work arrangement based at Reston, VA.
Required Qualifications
- BS degree in electrical engineering, telecommunications, or related technical field (military technical school in lieu acceptable)
- 5 years of relevant experience
- RF expertise with test equipment (Spectrum Analyzers, Network Analyzers, multimeters)
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
- Mobility to travel frequently (up to 50% travel, mostly domestic)
- U.S. citizenship due to government contracts
