Job Summary
Senior Field Applications Engineer responsible for deploying intelligent sensors and fault-detection software, developing new applications for INFICON’s FabGuard platform, and supporting customer projects in the US Field Applications group. Responsibilities include deploying and supporting sensor integration and FabGuard across semiconductor process equipment, creating data analysis recipes for tool-based sensors, providing technical assistance and troubleshooting, delivering on-site training, and supporting installation of INFICON hardware and software. Must be able to travel (approximately 20-25%) and work remotely from the Phoenix, AZ area with liaison to sales teams, customers, and account managers.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry or related sciences
- 2-5+ years’ experience in semiconductors
- Solid understanding of Semiconductor Processes and OEM tools (Lithography, PVD, CVD; ALD, Etch, CMP desirable)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to travel ~20-25% (domestic and international)
- Ability to deploy and support sensor integration and FabGuard software
