Senior Field Application Scientist, Protein XI

Senior Field Application Scientist, Protein XI responsible for serving as the scientific expert for customers and internal teams, combining deep knowledge of immunoassays and NGS. Provide advanced technical support, engage in hands-on method development during an initial rotation at MSD headquarters, mentor junior Field Applications staff, and create high-quality customer-facing content including training materials, workflows, and best-practice guides. Lead internal launches, EAP activities, and cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Marketing, and Product Management. Contribute to application notes, SOPs, and training programs; travel approximately 50% to customer sites and events; onsite at MSD headquarters in San Francisco, CA. Requires Ph.D. in a related field (Master’s with equivalent experience considered) and hands-on experience with NGS workflows, immunoassays, and customer-facing technical support.
