Senior Faculty Recruiter

Job Summary
Partner with School of Medicine departments to implement full-cycle, strategic faculty recruitment plans and develop tailored sourcing strategies for hard-to-fill positions. Conduct intake meetings to refine job criteria, screen candidates, and manage the end-to-end candidate experience through personalized outreach and event participation. Serve as a subject matter expert to guide hiring leaders on inclusive processes, compliance, and equitable decision-making while analyzing data to drive process improvements. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of institutional policies and collective bargaining agreements to ensure full regulatory adherence.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or relevant field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Five years of progressively responsible recruitment experience, which includes managing a requisition load, recruiting hard to fill positions, creating recruitment plans and sourcing strategies
- Equivalent experience within staffing
- Demonstrated experience in recruiting and/or sourcing on hard-to-fill positions
- Advocacy of and commitment to equity and diversity
- Excellent interpersonal skills to interact with faculty, providers, staff, students, and visitors with diverse backgrounds at all levels within OHSU and in the community
- Ability to write concise, logical and grammatically correct correspondence, reports, and other written materials
- Demonstrated computer literacy with moderate skill and knowledge of MS Office and email applications
- High critical thinking skills and self-motivated to identify needs and appropriate solutions
- Exceptional attention to detail to ensure accurate information
- Highly organized and with strong time management skills
- Ability to speak on a one-on-one or group basis to obtain and clearly convey information
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team while being collaborative in resolving problems
- Ability to manage and perform multiple tasks under conditions of fluctuating workloads, competing requirements, and changing deadlines
- Demonstrated ability to follow through on assignments with minimal direction
- Able to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation
- Ability to perform the job duties with or without accommodation
- Local (within driving distance) candidates will be prioritized
Desired Qualifications
- Demonstrated abilities in employee recruiting, including provider or executive recruiting
- In-depth experience with sourcing software, such as SeekOut
