Job Summary
Lead a team of engineers in planning, maintaining, and repairing facility equipment and services while implementing technical solutions to ensure smooth operations. Provide mentorship and guidance to staff, set clear objectives, and manage engineering projects including resource allocation, scheduling, and budgeting. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to deliver solutions, monitor project progress, and resolve bottlenecks. Stay updated on industry trends to design robust, scalable solutions and enforce engineering best practices and quality standards. Identify opportunities for process optimization and continuous improvement within the department. Requires 5+ years in technical fields with experience in HVAC, clean rooms, or lab spaces, plus 2+ years in management. Location: On-site in Oakland, Sacramento, San Francisco, or San Jose, CA.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years in relatable technical fields with experience in HVAC, clean rooms, lab space, or critical environment
- 2+ years management experience including at least one year in property or facilities management
