Job Summary
Oversee daily data center operations by coordinating with engineering teams, managing preventative and corrective maintenance programs, and directing incident resolution. Lead the third-party facility management provider on staff development, training, and scheduling while maintaining operations policies and asset tracking systems. Manage customer build-outs and orders, acting as the single point of contact for local teams on day-to-day issues, audits, and contract representation. Maintain capacity thresholds, execute business continuity planning, and ensure compliance with SOX audits and internal reporting standards. Direct OPEX management and CAPEX planning for equipment maintenance. Requires 7+ years in critical infrastructure, engineering degree preferred, and ability to work extended hours during emergencies.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years experience in managing and maintaining critical infrastructure
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related field (equivalent work experience may be substituted for degree)
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
- Must be available for after hour work needs
- Willingness to adjust hours as required by the business to include being onsite for extended hours during emergency situations such as hurricane
