Senior Facility Maintenance Technician-Hazardous Waste

Job Summary
Install, troubleshoot, repair, and modify mechanical equipment and facilities while planning work using blueprints and drawings. Perform complex maintenance tasks, including isolating and replacing pumps, fabricating and welding parts, and executing plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and electrical repairs. Provide assistance, training, and leadership to less experienced mechanics and write preventative maintenance instructions based on manufacturer specifications. Operate heavy equipment such as vacuum and sanitary trucks as needed. Complete necessary forms and records while strictly complying with all safety rules and protocols in both inside gas plant and outside inclement weather conditions.
Required Qualifications
- 5 years relevant work experience (in Facility Maintenance Technician Hazardous Waste)
- Current valid Driver's License Upon Hire
- RCRA HAZWOPER (24 Hour) DOT & M2Z (Driver Only) Upon Hire
- RCRA / HAZWOPER Training: Resource Conservation & Recovery Act (RCRA)
- Clean Air Act (CAA)
- Clean Water Act (CWA)
- Toxic Substance Control Act (TSCA)
- Superfund Amendment & Reauthorization Act (SARA)
- Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA)
- National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES)
- Occupational Safety & Health Act (OSHA)
- Hazardous Waste Transportation Act (HWTA)
- Code of Federal Regulation (CFR 40, 29, & 49)
