Job Summary
Maintain and repair equipment, buildings, and physical grounds across Goodwill locations including retail stores, warehouses, and corporate campuses. Serve as the lead point of contact for facility-related issues at assigned sites, coordinating contractors, vendors, and landlords to oversee new site and renovation projects. Ensure all work meets high standards of quality, safety, and customer relations while managing parts inventory and performing preventative maintenance. Travel to off-site locations by company vehicle to inspect repairs and guide project completion.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license
- Good driving record
- Qualify under the district's insurance carrier when driving a district vehicle
- Submit to and pass a 10-point drug screen pre-hire, during promotions, and if accidents occur
- Ability to spend time in excess of 8 hours standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, crawling, and crouching
- Ability to use hands to finger, handle, or feel
- Ability to reach with hands and arms
- Ability to climb, balance, talk, and hear
- Ability to move and lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to manage exposure to loud noises, outside weather conditions, and moving mechanical parts
- Ability to be occasionally exposed to fumes, airborne particles, and toxic or caustic chemicals
- Ability to manage risk of electrical shock and vibration
- Close, distance, peripheral, color vision abilities
- Ability to adjust focus
- Minimum of 18 years of age
- Possess or is working towards a journeyman's license (certified completion of a 4-year apprentice program) in the electrical carpentry trades
Desired Qualifications
- Prior Experience using a CMMS to handle work orders and PM checklists
