Senior Facilities Manager

Job Summary
Manage assigned properties and lead the Facility Management team within the client's portfolio, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal mandates while delivering superior client service. Direct staff performance, execute team building and succession planning, and foster collaboration across Engineering, Transactions, Projects, and Planning. Provide operational updates to senior stakeholders, prepare and manage property budgets with tracked variances, and maintain lease compliance with landlords and third-party owners. Resolve critical tenant relations issues, ensure facility safety and energy efficiency through site inspections, and leverage AI tools to drive efficiency and automate workflows. Work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment with a high degree of innovation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent combination of experience and education
- 8-10 years of facility management experience with demonstrated ability to exercise proper judgment, including leading Integrated Facilities Management teams/services
- Proven track record of excellent internal and external customer service
- Strong leadership and relationship building skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and problem-solving ability
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills, including ability to present effectively to senior stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively across organizational boundaries and build productive relationships with diverse functional teams
- Knowledge of standard commercial real estate, business, and accounting practices
- Knowledge or willingness to utilize AI tools and technologies as a part of daily work activities
- Proficient skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Outlook, Access)
- Knowledge of Excel and ability to analyze data
- Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
Desired Qualifications
- Advanced degree
- CPM, RPA, or CSM designation
- Experience utilizing AI tools and automation technologies to drive operational improvements
- Track record of leading technology adoption or process improvement initiatives
- Experience serving as strategic advisor to senior client leadership on facility-related matters
- Experience leading cross-functional projects involving multiple departments and stakeholder groups
