Job Summary
Senior Facilities Engineer responsible for planning, managing and executing facilities-led and supported projects across Give & Go locations, including budgeting, scheduling, vendor coordination, and compliance with building codes and safety standards. Role involves coordinating with Operations and Engineering, managing external architects/engineers and contractors, preparing RFPs/RFQs, reviewing drawings and specifications, obtaining necessary permits, and driving continuous improvement in facility systems (HVAC, electrical, life-safety). Requires a 4-year engineering degree, Ontario P.Eng., and 8+ years of project-management experience in a regulated manufacturing environment. Strong leadership, communication, and technical skills are essential; proficiency with AutoCAD and MS Office is required.
Required Qualifications
- Completion 4-year Bachelor Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical or Civil Engineering
- Professional Engineering (P.Eng.) License in Province of Ontario
- Minimum 8 years of project management experience in infrastructure/facilities operations
- Experience in regulated manufacturing industry (e.g. Pharmaceutical)
- Strong leadership, budgeting, vendor management and communication skills
- Proficient AutoCAD and MS Office
