Job Summary
Senior Facilities Engineer at Anduril Industries responsible for administering, troubleshooting, and maintaining Building Automation Systems across manufacturing facilities, including configuring and calibrating controllers and sensors, designing setpoints and control logic, diagnosing environmental control issues, planning system and equipment improvements, leading commissioning and special projects, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance, and translating customer and stakeholder requirements into design options, documentation, estimates, and contract scopes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science (or higher) from an accredited program in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, chemistry, or another related technical discipline
- 5+ years of experience with building electrical and mechanical systems
- 5+ years of experience in a facilities engineering role within a manufacturing or industrial environment
- 5+ years of experience with computerized Building Automation Systems (e.g., Trane, Honeywell, Johnson Controls Metasys)
- 5+ years of experience in the aerospace industry supporting Environmental Controls, Flight Controls, and/or Mechanical/Hydraulic Systems
Desired Qualifications
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Robotics Engineering
- 5+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- 5+ years of experience with PLC (programmable logic control) hardware
- 5+ years of experience with equipment reliability or machine troubleshooting
- 5+ years of experience supporting building lighting controls
- 5+ years of experience supporting building environmental controls
- 5+ years of experience modifying computer programs
- Experience with Bluebeam, AutoCAD, and Revit
