Job Summary
Drive site-level Environment, Health & Safety programs at the Bengaluru office, focusing on core operations including employee and contractor safety, emergency preparedness, EHS training, incident reporting, Permit-to-Work controls, Management of Change, statutory and internal compliance, audits, and implementation of Thermo Fisher EHS standards. Maintain EHS documentation, compliance trackers, risk assessments, incident records, and audit evidence while supporting internal and external audits to ensure timely closure of observations. Conduct EHS inductions for new employees and contractors, coordinate mock drills and emergency response exercises, and manage Permit-to-Work for high-risk activities such as hot work and confined space operations. Perform site rounds to verify safe work practices, monitor PPE matrix implementation, and drive corrective actions for unsafe conditions. Work a second shift (afternoons) as a key global site coordinator.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate with around 4 years of experience in core EHS
- preferably in corporate office, facilities, IT/ITES, life sciences, manufacturing support, or large commercial workplace environments
