Job Summary
Design and develop programs, algorithms and automated processes to cleanse, integrate and evaluate large datasets from disparate sources and implement complex business logic using available data processing tools. Integrate new data sources to increase throughput, manage data pipelines that enable robust analytics, and source and prepare data to ensure data completeness on metadata platforms. Build data architectures and drive delivery of data products and services into systems and business processes in compliance with internal regulatory requirements. Lead data integration discussions with data scientists, design and maintain optimized ETL pipelines for real-time analytics, and ensure high-quality, reliable data assets. Mentor junior fellows, foster growth within the team. Requires 12+ years of experience and proficiency with Hadoop, Spark, Flink, Kafka, Arrow, Tableau; SQL/NoSQL/Graph databases; Python, R, Scala, Java, Rust, Kotlin; Agile/Scrum; information security principles; and experience building data-driven ML environments or microservices/recommenders.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Quantitative Analysis, Computer Science, Software Engineering or Information Technology
- 12+ years of relevant experience with developing, debugging, scripting and employing big data technologies (e.g. Hadoop, Spark, Flink, Kafka, Arrow, Tableau)
- experience with SQL, NoSQL, Graph databases
- programming languages: Python, R, Scala, Java, Rust, Kotlin
- Deep experience with data modeling, ETL, data warehouse concepts
- information security principles for data handling
- experience leading Agile teams and digital transformation projects
- ML model development environment setup and maintenance
- experience delivering high-performance microservices or recommenders
