Job Summary
Senior Executive, Media Planning responsible for managing campaigns from briefing through reporting, driving innovative digital media strategies, and overseeing planning, buying, and reporting for assigned accounts. The role emphasizes developing strong working relationships with internal teams, mentoring and training staff, managing vendor relationships, aiding senior leaders in creating media plans, initiating creative and business-building ideas, negotiating plans, maximizing buying power, and leading internal meetings. The candidate should demonstrate leadership, strategic thinking, excellent communication and presentation skills, ability to handle multiple projects with tight deadlines, strong negotiation and relationship-building capabilities, problem-solving and analytical skills, proficiency with media research tools, and proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. WPP Media operates with a hybrid approach (office around four days a week) and values collaboration, growth, and delivering high-quality outcomes for multinational clients.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of media planning experience in media or interactive advertising agency
- Proven record of accomplishment on the execution and development of media and digital strategies for clients
- Strong leadership and Strategic Thinker
- Detailed oriented
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work successfully with teams, handling multiple projects and meeting tight deadlines under pressure
- Strong negotiating skills and excellent attention to detail
- Strong relationship building skills which include maintaining positive client relationships
- Demonstrated critical thinking and problem solving abilities
- Strong analytical abilities and quantitative skills, including math proficiency
- Ability to effectively utilize media research and reporting resources
- Technical proficiency, particularly with media systems and MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint
