Job Summary
Operate, perform preventive maintenance, and troubleshoot cold rooms, DX units, air conditioners, and HVAC systems to ensure reliable performance. Monitor inventory of critical spares, coordinate with OEMs for major maintenance activities, and maintain records in the SAP system. Ensure compliance with safety regulations, GMP, HVAC validation requirements, and EHS guidelines while managing work orders and reporting unsafe conditions. Participate in deviation investigations, root cause analysis, and CAPA implementation related to HVAC systems. Coordinate with the QA team during audits and inspections.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Engineering (Chemical)
- Experience with cold rooms, DX units, air conditioners (ACs), and HVAC systems
- Knowledge of safety regulations, GMP, and HVAC validation requirements
- Familiarity with company SOPs
- Ability to monitor inventory of critical spares and consumables
- Capability to coordinate with OEMs, contractors, and service providers
- Experience with annual maintenance contracts (AMCs)
- Knowledge of SAP system for maintaining maintenance records and equipment history
- Ability to coordinate installation, testing, commissioning, and qualification of new HVAC and refrigeration equipment
- Experience with deviation investigations, root cause analysis (RCA), and implementation of CAPA
- Ability to coordinate with the QA team during audits, inspections, and regulatory assessments
- Knowledge of permit systems
- Ability to identify unsafe conditions and unsafe acts
- Knowledge of Environmental Guidelines and EHS Guidelines
- Capability to supervise or work in the absence of a senior
