Job Summary
Develop sales strategies and tactical plans to create a competition edge through bundling offers and custom proposals. Gather market intelligence to support SWOT analysis and maintain strong rapport with external stakeholders like chefs and F&B managers. Conduct product demonstrations, menu creation, and blind testing to drive conversion and brand switching. Manage day-to-day operating expenditures against budgets, ensure timely product delivery, and collect accounts receivable within stipulated terms. Identify new potential areas and customer bases while achieving assigned sales targets and KPIs. Research competitor and customer data to inform negotiation processes and support continuous learning in Food Services.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Business Studies / Marketing / Economics or a related discipline
- Minimum one to two years' experience in a similar role Sales background dealing with HORECA exposure/experience
- Demonstrate basic knowledge and understanding of the industry/market/competitors/customers
- Demonstrate basic knowledge in assigned territories/products/ services and strong selling skills
- Demonstrate strong communication and negotiation skills
- Demonstrate basic research and analytical skills
- Demonstrate proficiencies in office productivity tools (e.g. Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
- Demonstrate fluency in local language and ideally in English, both written and spoken
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum one to two years' experience in a similar role Sales background dealing with HORECA exposure/experience is highly desirable
