Job Summary
Review and investigate transaction monitoring alerts and suspicious activities, assessing Suspicious Transaction Alerts (STA) and preparing Suspicious Transaction Reports (STR) for regulatory authorities. Handle responses to law enforcement and regulatory requests, including Production Orders, while conducting customer due diligence reviews and enhanced due diligence for higher-risk customers. Evaluate Source of Wealth (SOW) and Source of Funds (SOF) documentation and provide guidance on AML/CFT and financial crime compliance matters. Support audits, regulatory reviews, and process improvement initiatives to ensure adherence to internal policies and risk management standards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Law, Risk Management, or related discipline
- 5–7 years of experience in Financial Crime Compliance, AML/CFT, Compliance, or Financial Crime Investigations
- Hands-on experience in: Transaction Monitoring
- Hands-on experience in: Suspicious Transaction Alert (STA) investigations
- Hands-on experience in: Suspicious Transaction Report (STR) filing
- Hands-on experience in: Police Orders and Protection Orders handling
- Hands-on experience in: Regulatory reporting
- Experience in insurance, banking, wealth management, or financial services
- Experience in High Net Worth (HNW) reviews and Source of Wealth (SOW) reviews
