Senior Events Project Manager

Job Summary
Organise stellar events, conferences, roadshows, and gala dinners through full end-to-end planning, delegate logistics, and production coordination. Interpret client requirements to produce proposals, manage budgets and third-party suppliers, and oversee crew and venue arrangements. Lead teams, monitor project progress to prevent delays, and provide on-site support while managing client and colleague expectations. Record account reconciliations, raise purchase orders, and produce final invoices. Gather stakeholder feedback and manage post-event debriefs. Deliver projects on time, within budget, and to agreed objectives across UK and overseas locations.
Required Qualifications
- At least 3 years' experience in a Project Management role
- Running logistically challenging events
- Implementing and maintaining delegate logistics plans
- Event reconciliation (with a proven track record)
- Working with hotels and venues
- UK end-to-end management of events for over 500 people
- Leading, directing, or co-ordinating teams through event management
- Excellent rapport-building, active listening, and communication skills
- Financial and budget management
- Producing client proposals
- Managing multiple clients and events simultaneously
- Knowledge of production elements including technical, design, print, video, multimedia, and presentation
- Delegate management, including online registration
- All financial, commercial, administrative, and customer-focused competencies commensurate with project management responsibilities
- A full UK driving licence
- Good computer literacy skills (particularly Teams, Outlook, Trello)
- The role will be based primarily in Hartlebury, Manchester or London offices
- Flexibility to work from other places and undertake related commercial duties both in the UK and overseas
