Job Summary
Senior Events Marketing Manager leading end-to-end production for SDF’s experiential events portfolio, including Tier 1 flagship activations (Meridian, Stellar House), Tier 2 sponsorships, and Tier 3 self-serve events. Owns planning, vendor management, on-site execution, budget tracking, agency relationships, and cross-functional alignment across Marketing, Partnerships, Product, and Ecosystem. Travels globally to events and mentors junior team members, driving high-quality experiences and post-event learnings.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of event production and operations experience, including ownership of large-scale owned events (conferences, brand activations) and third-party sponsorships in B2B or tech environments
- Demonstrated ability to serve as the primary day-to-day owner of agency and vendor relationships, managing correspondence, deliverables, and accountability without heavy oversight
- Proven track record of running cross-functional programs independently with proactive risk mitigation
- Strong financial operations skills: budget tracking against actuals, invoice management, PO routing, and post-event reconciliation
- Experience as an on-site lead for major events and ability to make real-time decisions under pressure
- Clear, confident communicator capable of translating complex operational topics for cross-functional audiences and senior stakeholders
- Experience mentoring or leading junior team members or contractors
- Familiarity with blockchain, crypto, or fintech industry, or ability to quickly get up to speed in a technically complex space
- Domestic and international travel is required for events
