Job Summary
Lead end-to-end event strategy, manage large-scale budgets, and negotiate with suppliers for trade shows, sampling activities, and brand activations. Serve as the key contact for agencies and exhibitor houses, overseeing physical builds, inventory tracking, and on-site aesthetics. Identify new opportunities within cross-functional teams, lead development of long and short-term plans, and manage individual budgets while aligning with targets. Hire, train, and coordinate on-site support including Brand Ambassadors and Mixologists, while providing logistical planning for mobile touring, pop-ups, and HQ support. Collaborate with event management to address problems and measure project performance for continuous improvement. This role requires residing in the NYC or NYC Metro area, with approximately 50 days of domestic travel annually.
Required Qualifications
- At least 5+ years of documented experience working within the trade industry, or other event executional roles, where you gained practical knowledge of event logistics and physical build
- Ability to source cultural partners and/or vendors to identify unique, can-not-miss opportunities
- Ability to seamlessly transition from office planning to on-site execution
- Print production knowledge
- Experience in working within CPG, understanding organizational structure and connectivity of activations to support broader business initiatives
- Must reside in NYC or NYC Metro area
- Must be available to travel approximately 50 days, domestically, a year with most of the travels including the weekend
- Must be available to travel for the set-up, execution, and dismantling of identified events (travel dependent upon trade season ~30%)
Desired Qualifications
- Working knowledge of Monday, Bynder, and Google Suite is a plus
