Job Summary
Plan and direct a program of diversified activities for residents, including social events, outings, and creative programs. Coordinate outside vendors and entertainers while developing new initiatives based on resident interests. Manage the monthly budget and expenses for the Activities department. Assist with resident transportation to errands, doctor visits, and field trips. Engage with residents and families to instill a positive community image. Provide a calendar of events and maintain knowledge of safety and emergency procedures. Work full-time with potential on-call availability for evenings, weekends, or travel to other communities for fill-in shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Full-time, 40 hours per week
- Must be able to pass a comprehensive Criminal Background Screening and pre-employment Drug Test
- Must provide valid employment documents
- Must have reliable transportation to report to work on time and maintain good attendance
- Must be able to walk, sit, stand, bend, or kneel throughout shift
- Must be able to lift 25-50lbs
- Must possess current Driver's License, acceptable driving record & current personal auto insurance
- Must love seniors and have a great sense of humor
- Ability to follow verbal and written instruction with attention to detail
- Self-motivated, able to work with/without supervision
- Communicate politely & professionally with customers, co-workers & supervisors
- Maintain a positive 'can-do' attitude
- Maintain an accurate and a thorough knowledge of all the aspects of the property, specifically in areas such as community policies, safety, and emergency procedures, etc
- Potential for 'on-call' for fill-in shifts; could require evenings, overnights, or weekends for emergencies
- Willing to travel to other Mansions Senior Living Communities for emergencies or fill-in shifts

- Experience driving passenger commercial vehicles
- CDL
- Must be able to effectively lead and coach others
