Job Summary
Senior ETL Software Developer to build streaming data pipelines (Kafka, Python, Java) and ETL workflows to reconcile requested vs. realized infrastructure; ensure scalable, reliable data ingestion and processing; collaborate with full-stack engineers to visualize results. Requires experience with Kafka/streaming analytics, Python/Java, and databases (relational/document/graph); plus familiarity with dataflow, data science, and mission analytics. Nice-to-haves include cybersecurity data analysis, SIGINT collection/analysis systems, and experience with Git/GitLab, Jira/Confluence. Role is on-site in Columbia, MD with a 12-year or 4 additional years-in-lieu requirement for B.S. and a strong emphasis on stakeholder collaboration and quick iteration across teams.
Required Qualifications
- Experience with Kafka and streaming analytics
- Proficiency in Python and/or Java
- Strong background in relational, document, and/or graph databases
- Knowledge of adjacent domains (dataflow, data science, mission analytics) is a plus
