Job Summary
Senior Estimator for premium commercial interior projects in Manhattan. Owns the estimating process from conceptual design through bid delivery and handover, delivering accurate, competitive estimates for interior projects typically valued from $5M to $50M+ with portfolio responsibility of $50M–$100M annually. Responsibilities include leading estimating efforts, budgeting and cost estimation across trades (architectural finishes, structural, MEP/FP), scope analysis, bid package development, subcontractor solicitation and bid leveling, value engineering, project handoff, RFI pricing, change orders, and subcontract negotiations, plus client and team mentorship. Requires onsite daily presence in the Manhattan office and deep knowledge of NYC construction practices and codes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred (equivalent experience considered)
- Minimum 5–10 years of estimating experience
- Market Knowledge: NYC interior projects
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; Takeoff software experience preferred
