Job Summary
Develop detailed cost estimates by quantifying, pricing, and qualifying all building systems and components. Solicit subcontractor pricing and bids while preparing scopes of work for trade contractors. Assist the preconstruction team with value management and estimate proposal reports to meet critical deadlines. Work as part of a team to support the development of comprehensive cost data.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience working with either a GC or Trade Partner in an estimating role
- 5+ years demonstrated experience with commercial construction estimating and estimating software solutions
- 5+ years of experience working with the Value Management processes
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Excel, Microsoft Word, and Powerpoint
- Bachelor's Degree – Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or equivalent/applicable degree; or 8 years equivalent experience and minimum 7 years prior relevant experience
