Senior Estimator

Lead the preparation of detailed estimates for complex fixed-price (lump-sum) projects ranging from $5M to $50M+, including quantity takeoffs, conceptual budgets, schematic design estimates, design development estimates, and final fixed-price proposals. Drive preconstruction services with value engineering and constructability reviews; generate and manage budget control reports and variance explanations. Oversee bidding and proposal development, establish bidder lists, evaluate trade-partner proposals, and provide award recommendations. Serve as the primary estimating contact for clients, architects, engineers, and consultants, and support business development through proposal pricing and pursuit strategy. Build and maintain a historical cost database, develop benchmark studies, and continuously update pricing data. Manage document control, scope management, and post-bid reviews to ensure clear, defendable estimates and margins. Strong communication and leadership to influence clients and project teams; proficiency with Bluebeam, Procore, and Microsoft Office; interest in advancing estimating standards and preconstruction processes.
