Senior Estimator | Mission Critical Electrical

Job Summary
Champion safety standards while leading the complete estimating lifecycle from conceptual budgets through final construction pricing. Develop detailed quantity takeoffs, labor analyses, and pricing strategies for complex mission-critical electrical projects, coordinating closely with operations, procurement, and project management teams. Prepare bid summaries, risk registers, and value engineering proposals, then solicit and evaluate supplier and subcontractor pricing against market trends. Mentor junior estimators and interns while collaborating with field leadership to validate production rates and execution strategies. Capture lessons learned to strengthen future estimates and improve competitiveness.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of electrical construction estimating experience
- Minimum of 3 years serving as a lead estimator on projects exceeding $10 million
- Strong knowledge of electrical construction means and methods, labor analysis, and cost development
- Experience developing conceptual, schematic, design-assist, GMP, and construction document estimates
- Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to interact effectively with clients, project teams, vendors, and leadership
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and perform effectively under tight deadlines
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
- Equivalent trade, field, or estimating experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
- Strong working knowledge of: Accubid Anywhere, LiveCount, Bluebeam, Navisworks, Procore, BuildingConnected, Related estimating and construction technologies
- Experience estimating hyperscale data centers, healthcare facilities, advanced manufacturing facilities, mission critical facilities, or other large-scale electrical construction projects
- Understanding of design-assist delivery, Integrated Project Delivery (IPD), target value design, GMP development, and conceptual estimating
- Experience preparing complete electrical estimates for projects exceeding $25 million
