Job Summary
Lead the ECI estimating process for Utility Infrastructure projects; mentor junior estimating staff; develop first principles estimates for water and wastewater treatment and distribution, review offers from subcontractors/vendors, set up templates and procurement schedules, and present methodologies at reviews. Requires strong experience in tier 1 environments, leadership of estimating teams, and solid communication/presentation skills; familiarity with Expert Estimator is valued, and a culture of safety and continuous improvement under Fulton Hogan’s Living Safely 2.0. The role emphasizes collaboration with clients, partners, and suppliers, plus opportunities for training, flexible working arrangements, and community-focused initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Mechanical or Electrical tertiary qualification in Engineering, Construction Management or a relevant trade background
- 7+ years leading estimates and managing other Estimators within a team environment
- Experience pricing large and small projects – ideally involving Utility Infrastructure and some O&M experience
- Experience in Water / Waste Water, Power or Gas Utility infrastructure
- Good communication, presentation skills and a positive and productive attitude
