Senior Estimator

Job Summary
Analyze engineering contracts, plans, and specifications to develop detailed construction estimates for small and large projects. Complete estimate take-offs within time deadlines while accurately defining project requirements. Obtain quotes from subcontractors and suppliers, attend pre-bid meetings, and ensure complete scope of work. Assist in determining project resource requirements and provide liaison support to internal and external stakeholders. Ensure all submitted estimates are accurate and complete, then provide timely project turnover documentation to Project Management. Work closely with Owners, Construction, and Project Managers in a fast-paced environment requiring strong time management and detail orientation.
Required Qualifications
- Strong time management and detail orientation skills
- High School Diploma or GED
- 5+ years' experience estimating
- Strong understanding of construction documentation
- Math skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Outlook, Word and Excel
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Ability to lead people and get results through others
- Ability to effectively organize multiple projects and resource planning skills
- Technical skills necessary for project engineering
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Ability to analyze and solve problems
- Commitment to company values
- Ability to travel to field locations as needed
