Job Summary
Quantify, price, and qualify all building systems and components to create detailed cost estimates for electrical projects. Solicit subcontractor pricing and bids, then prepare scopes of work for all trade contractors. Assist the preconstruction team through the development of cost estimates, value management, and estimate proposal reports. Meet critical deadlines while working as part of a team. Requires 7+ years of experience in estimating roles and proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience working with either a GC or Trade Partner in an estimating role
- 5+ years demonstrated experience with commercial construction estimating and estimating software solutions
- 5+ years of experience working with the Value Management processes
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Excel, Microsoft Word, and Powerpoint
- Bachelor's Degree – Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or equivalent/applicable degree; or 8 years equivalent experience and minimum 7 years prior relevant experience
