Job Summary
Prepare detailed electrical estimates and develop takeoffs for projects ranging from $5M to $50M using Accubid software. Analyze drawings, specifications, and bid documents to create complete bid packages. Collaborate with project managers and engineers during preconstruction to solicit vendor pricing, identify cost-saving opportunities, and evaluate risks. Participate in bid reviews and client presentations while maintaining relationships with industry partners. This role supports the preconstruction team on diverse commercial, industrial, healthcare, and data center projects across the Southeast.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in electrical estimating within a commercial or industrial construction environment
- Strong proficiency with Accubid or similar electrical estimating software
- Experience bidding projects in the $5M–$50M range
- 5+ years of electrical estimating experience
- Experience across one or more of the following project types: Commercial construction, Industrial facilities, Healthcare projects, Data centers
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred but not required)
- Senior-level candidates preferred
