Job Summary
Prepare detailed and accurate electrical estimates using Accubid by analyzing drawings, specifications, and bid documents. Develop takeoffs, pricing, and complete bid packages for projects ranging from $5M to $50M. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and leadership during preconstruction while soliciting vendor and subcontractor pricing. Identify risks, cost-saving opportunities, and value engineering options. Participate in bid reviews and client presentations as needed. Maintain relationships with clients, vendors, and industry partners. This role involves bidding and securing diverse electrical construction projects across commercial, industrial, healthcare, and data center sectors within the Southeast.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in electrical estimating within a commercial or industrial construction environment
- Strong proficiency with Accubid or similar electrical estimating software
- Experience bidding projects in the $5M–$50M range
- 5+ years of electrical estimating experience
- Experience across one or more of the following project types: Commercial construction, Industrial facilities, Healthcare projects, Data centers
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred but not required)
- Senior-level candidates preferred
