Job Summary
The Senior Estimator is responsible for leading all aspects of estimating including execution of project strategy, preconstruction, competitive bids, negotiated project proposals, budgets, value engineering, and subcontractor relations. Key responsibilities include collaboration with the project team to ensure profitability, drawing and document review, project preparation, and participation in the subcontractor award process. The role demands the ability to create conceptual and construction document estimates, while developing client confidence through leadership in proposal and budget presentations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in related field
- 10+ years of estimating experience in general construction industry
- Organized and goal oriented
- Confident, articulate, and professional
- Precise, analytical, a driven self-starter
Desired Qualifications
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with Procore
- Experience with Onscreen
- Preferred experience in 10,000 Ft & Building Connected
