Senior Estimator leading estimates for large, complex commercial projects (tech, office, biotech/life science, mixed-use, education) with project values from $100K to $250M+. Responsibilities include leading estimating and preconstruction efforts, soliciting subcontractor pricing, identifying deficiencies and drafting scope clarifications, developing quantity-based estimates, procuring bids, coordinating documentation with subs, and supporting historical cost data. Requires 8+ years of estimating experience on large projects, a bachelor's degree in construction-related field, proficiency with BIM (Revit) and BluBeam Revu, Microsoft Project, and strong communication skills for senior management presentations. Compensation range: $80,000-$170,000/year.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years estimating experience leading estimates on large, complex commercial projects
- Bachelors degree in construction, civil, architectural engineering, or construction management
- Experience with BIM, BluBeam Revu and Microsoft Project
- Strong MS Office and spreadsheet skills
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to present to senior management
- Knowledge of construction documents and bid processes
- Organized, self-motivated, team player
