Job Summary
Pre-Construction Senior Estimator for a major general contractor in the San Francisco area. Responsible for managing an estimating team, performing all facets of commercial project estimating including quantities, costing, and subcontractor analysis, with duties spanning takeoffs, database item adjustments, bid development, subcontractor procurement, plan-room documentation, and communications with clients and subs. Projects include office, biotech, tech data centers, mixed-use, hospitality and education with project values up to $250M. Requires 5-10+ years of estimating experience, proficiency with BIM, BlueBeam, Timberline, and Microsoft Project, and strong leadership and presentation skills.
Required Qualifications
- 5-10+ years estimating experience in a medium to large general contractor, working on commercial/buildings and/or small civil estimating projects
- Ability to operate MS Office Suite, strong spreadsheet skills
- Experience with BIM, BlueBeam, Timberline and Microsoft Project
- Good oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Organized, self-motivated, and a team player
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
