Senior Estimator

Job Summary
Prepare and complete estimates for assigned projects by calculating complete takeoffs of labor, materials, and equipment, and determining cost effectiveness. Review proposal specifications, drawings, and historical data to quantify scope, prepare bid item lists, and develop pre-bid draft schedules. Interface with owners, architects, and subcontractors to provide engineering and cost data, while reviewing contracts and recommending vendors. Incorporate historical data, safety program costs, and delay-free production analysis into unit cost and workplan figures. Lead Estimator I and other team members, provide work direction, and police job sites to maintain a clean, orderly, and safe workplace.
Required Qualifications
- B.S. in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, related major, or equivalent
- Continuing education in construction
- Minimum of 4 years of construction experience in estimating, operations and/or engineering
- OSHA 10 hour
