Job Summary
Senior Estates & Trusts Attorney sought for a high-level, partner-level or of-counsel role within the Estates & Trusts Practice Group in Miami, Jacksonville, Orlando, Tallahassee, or Tampa offices. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience, top academics, and a JD from a top-tier ABA-approved law school, with active Florida Bar status. Responsibilities include extensive client contact, mentoring younger associates, counseling clients, collaborating with senior partners, and dedicating substantial effort to client development. The role requires deep expertise across estate planning, estate and trust administration, wealth preservation, and business succession planning, including tax and generation-skipping tax planning, charitable planning, probate administration, and related corporate matters. Ideal candidates will demonstrate superior client relationship skills, project management, negotiation, document drafting, and senior review capabilities, and will advise executives and business owners on a wide range of corporate-law-related matters.
Required Qualifications
- JD from a top-tier ABA-approved law school
- in good standing and an active member of the Florida Bar
- 10 or more years of experience
- experience practicing in estate planning, estate and trust administration, wealth preservation and business succession planning, including tax planning, trust administration, probate administration, and charitable planning
- strong client relationships, project management and negotiating skills
- document drafting and senior review skills
