Job Summary
Senior Estate Planning Paralegal responsible for drafting complex estate planning documents (wills, revocable and irrevocable trusts, powers of attorney, and healthcare directives) under attorney supervision; facilitating trust funding with real property, financial accounts, and other holdings; coordinating with financial institutions and title companies; updating beneficiary designations and tracking funding; managing client communications, meetings, deadlines, and case files in the firm’s system; entering billable and non-billable time; collaborating with attorneys and fellow paralegals to maintain efficient workflows; success is measured by accurately drafted documents, properly funded trusts, and strong client service.
Required Qualifications
- Paralegal certificate or degree from an accredited program
- 3+ years of estate planning experience
- Experience drafting wills, trusts, and related documents
- Knowledge of North Carolina estate planning law and regulations
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple matters and communicate with clients
