Job Summary
Senior Escrow Officer responsible for overseeing escrow processes and closings for real estate transactions, including settlement statements, deeds, loan documents, and compliance with state/federal requirements. Role involves coordinating with homebuyers, sellers, mortgage teams, and accounting; mentoring junior staff; ensuring timely, accurate flow of information between settlement, recording, and accounting; and maintaining high-volume efficiency. In-office five days a week in Coppell, Texas.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2-5 years Escrow Officer experience
- Notary Public license requirements as required by State
- Customer service skills with diverse homebuyer demographics
- Ability to multi-task in fast-paced environment
- Effective communication skills (verbal and written)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; OneNote and SoftPro a plus
- Ability to mentor junior staff
- Knowledge of escrow procedures and industry regulations
- Ability to coordinate with stakeholders (homebuyer, seller, mortgage, accounting)
- Strong time management and prioritization
- Attention to detail and follow-up skills
- Ability to adapt to change
- Collaborative across dispersed teams in multiple locations
