Job Summary
Senior ERP Consultant (Systems Accounting focus) at Octane Systems in Melbourne leads ERP implementation projects from discovery through go-live, analyzes financial and business processes to improve efficiency, configures financial components (GL and Chart of Accounts), designs financial reports and analytics, supports data migration and reconciliation, and resolves system issues. Delivers training to finance and operations stakeholders and collaborates with Account Managers to ensure strong client outcomes. Requires CA/CPA or equivalent with extensive Systems Accounting/ERP experience; strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills; ability to work independently in a client-facing, remote environment. Desirable experience in fuel, energy, or logistics industries; familiarity with SQL, Power BI, Crystal Reports, Sage300 or similar tools; experience with SaaS/cloud ERP solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA/CPA or equivalent)
- Extensive experience in Systems Accounting and ERP environments
- Proven experience implementing or supporting ERP/accounting systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capability
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a client-facing, remote environment
