Senior ER/IR Advisor

Job Summary
The Senior ER/IR Advisor will advise and support HR and project leadership teams in managing industrial relations across major engineering and construction projects. The role includes providing expert advice on industrial instruments, supporting enterprise agreement negotiations, developing IR strategies, and acting on performance management issues. Candidates should have a minimum of 5+ years of experience in IR/ER advisory roles, with a strong understanding of Australian employment legislation and industrial instruments.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years experience in IR/ER advisory roles, preferably within construction, resources, or infrastructure
- Proven experience managing IR/ER in large-scale projects and complex industrial environments
- Deep understanding of Australian employment legislation, industrial instruments, and Fair Work Commission processes
- Demonstrated ability to interpret EAs, manage disputes, and influence positive industrial outcomes
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in employer/employee associations or regulatory bodies
- Experience in/or aptitude for undertaking enterprise agreement wage calculations and analysis
- Previous FIFO or project-based experience within a tier-1 or tier-2 construction environment
