Job Summary
Senior Equity Analyst & Reporter at CNBC/Versant: identify investment opportunities through deep research, analyze company financials and market trends, and communicate insights on air. Requires 5+ years of writing experience at a major publication, strong writing/research skills, robust understanding of balance sheets, income statements, and valuation metrics, and ability to engage with C-suite executives. MBA and/or CFA credentials are a plus; role is hybrid with in-person office presence in Englewood Cliffs, NJ. Must have unrestricted U.S. work authorization. Collaborative, high-pressure environment with opportunities to translate analytical work into on-air explanations for CNBC’s audience.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of writing similar content at another major publication
- MBA and/or CFA credential
- Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
- Strong journalistic writing and research skills
- Experience working in a fast-paced digital newsroom
- Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week
