Job Summary
Senior Equipment Specialist at ZEISS in the NY remote region generates new business sales and profits for a defined territory, maintains and forecasts a sales pipeline, conducts clinical/technical product demonstrations to surgeons and operating room staff, manages a cost center and budget, adheres to GMP/ISO 9001 processes, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to maximize revenue while educating stakeholders on product operation and application. Strong emphasis on strategic planning, negotiation, documentation in SFDC, teamwork, and maintaining regulatory and ethical standards. Requires four-year degree (or equivalent) and 5+ years of sales experience with deep technical/product knowledge.
Required Qualifications
- Four-year college degree or equivalent
- Five plus (5+) years’ sales experience
- High level of technical/ clinical product knowledge
- Ability to manage multiple tasks
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Computer literacy in word processing, spreadsheet and database management
- Exceptional negotiating and diplomacy skills
- Develop expertise in product application and practice management implications
- Safely operate a motor vehicle and maintain a valid motor vehicle license
