Job Summary
Maintain and update technical orders and configuration baselines for Air Route Surveillance Radar systems while supporting Time Compliance and ETIMS sustainment. Assist field units with troubleshooting, obsolescence identification, and discrepancy reporting to ensure mission-critical equipment reliability. Manage supply chain integration by logging new items, monitoring modification parts, and interfacing with external organizations including DLA and FAA. Participate in Agile/Waterfall development activities, engineering change implementation, and compliance audits. Requires US citizenship, Secret clearance, and a Bachelor's degree with 12 years of experience (5 in DoD). Located at Tinker Air Force Base, OK, with travel possible.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a US citizen
- Must have and be able to maintain a Secret level Clearance
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field and 12 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, 5 years of which must be in the DoD
- 15 years of directly related experience, 8 years of which must be in the DoD
Desired Qualifications
- Master's or Doctorate Degree in a related field and at least 10 years of experience in the respective technical / professional discipline being performed, 5 years of which must be in the DoD
- Highly Desired Radar experience
- Strong technical background with NAVAID systems or similar avionics / radar environments
- Experience developing, updating, and sustaining technical orders (TOs, TCTOs)
- Understanding of supply chain management and provisioning processes
- Ability to collaborate with external stakeholders (DLA, FAA, DoD agencies)
- Hands-on support experience in a sustaining engineering or logistics environment
- SharePoint, Office 365
- ETIMS (Electronic Technical Information Management System)
- USAF logistics and deficiency reporting systems
- IMDS, REMIS, and other sustainment/maintenance systems
- Works well with cross-functional teams — engineering, PM, logistics, cyber, configuration, and more
- Strong communicator who can collaborate with both technical and non-technical partners
- Comfortable supporting users in the field and solving problems in real time
