Senior Equipment Reliability Engineer

Job Summary

Manage risk and eliminate production losses by maintaining a FRACAS system, performing rigorous Root Cause Analysis, and leading Lifecycle Asset Management to extend equipment lifespan. Collaborate with Operations and Maintenance to adjust maintenance schedules, redesign fixtures using SolidWorks, and support site shutdowns and capital projects. Prioritize 30% on strategic projects, 30% on corrective improvement, and 40% on sustaining manufacturing while ensuring all learnings are captured in internal manuals. Support the ERSA System for spare parts management and lead FMEA for new equipment installs.

Required Qualifications

  • BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or similar related engineering field, or equivalent work experience

  • Mechanical design skills and experience with SolidWorks or similar CAD software, including the ability to read mechanical and electrical drawings
  • Ability to work with chemicals and in clean room environment using proper PPE
  • Strong technical understanding of high vacuum systems, RF systems, pneumatic control systems, electrical systems, HVAC systems, and various mechanical and architectural systems
  • Extensive RCA experience with 8D with demonstrated use of statistical analysis used in decision making
  • SAP background or similar system background for PM management
  • 3-5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma theory and practice

Desired Qualifications

  • Semiconductor industry preferred
  • PECVD/PVD/ALD Coatings background or experience is a plus
